This unusual building was originally the giftshop at Coco Palms. The building was hauled away and placed on my client’s property before they purchased it. I was hired on to design a remodel/addition which would hold the original uniqueness of the building, while simultaneously making it structurally sound and more livable. The market was so busy after I completed the design the owners couldn’t find a contractor. They asked me and I took on the roll of general contractor, building most of the structure myself. It was a valuable and satisfying experience.
